Aviation Program — Sterling Aviation Early College High School

The Aviation Program at Sterling Aviation Early College High School is the flagship pathway that sets our campus apart. Designed to inspire, challenge, and prepare students for careers in the aviation and aerospace industries, this program blends rigorous academics with hands-on, real-world aviation training. As an Early College campus, Sterling allows students to earn college credit while gaining industry-aligned experience—giving them a powerful head start toward high-demand aviation careers.

Students in the Aviation Program explore the science, technology, and mechanics behind flight. Through immersive instruction, they engage in flight simulation, aircraft systems, aviation maintenance, drone technology, and aerospace fundamentals. Learning goes far beyond the textbook—students work with professional equipment, analyze real aircraft components, and develop problem-solving skills used by pilots, engineers, and technicians in the field.

The program emphasizes career readiness, safety, precision, and innovation. Students are introduced to multiple aviation pathways, including pilot training, aircraft maintenance, aerospace engineering, aviation management, and unmanned aerial systems (drones). With access to dual-credit opportunities and industry exposure, students are empowered to graduate with both academic credentials and practical experience.

At Sterling, aviation is more than a program—it is a culture of excellence, discipline, and vision. Our students are not just dreaming about the sky; they are actively preparing to own their future in it.
