Sterling Aviation High School Choir Students Advance to State UIL Solo & Ensemble Auditions

Sterling Aviation Early College High School proudly celebrates a major achievement in the Fine Arts program as eight dedicated choir students earned a Division I (Superior) rating, qualifying them to advance to audition at the State level of the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Solo & Ensemble process. This accomplishment reflects the students’ commitment to musical excellence, disciplined preparation, and pursuit of artistic growth through performance.

The following students received a Superior Rating — State Bound:

UIL Solo & Ensemble is one of the most rigorous and respected music evaluations in Texas, requiring students to perform challenging repertoire before certified adjudicators. Sterling also recognizes additional students who represented the choir program with excellence:

Participation in UIL performance opportunities aligns with Sterling Aviation’s commitment to providing well-rounded educational experiences that build confidence, communication skills, and creative discipline. Through preparation and performance, students strengthened competencies valued across Career and Technical Education pathways — including perseverance, accountability, and professional presentation — while representing the school with pride.

This achievement highlights the collaborative culture of excellence within Sterling’s Fine Arts community and reflects the hours of rehearsal, focused instruction, and student dedication invested throughout the preparation process.

The Sterling community congratulates all participating students and wishes the State qualifiers continued success as they prepare for the next stage of auditions. Their accomplishments serve as inspiration to their peers and reinforce the school’s mission to empower students through academic, artistic, and career-focused opportunities. The Sterling Choir Program is under the direction of Mr. Ryan Farr.
